Ask Gearographer: Bicycle Clothing Ads

Dear Gearographer,

Why does it seem everyone riding a bike these days is covered in company logos. Are they all getting paid to advertise? When I jump on the bike path I feel like I’ve joined the peloton in the Tour De France.

Dear Perplexed,

You mean you’re not getting paid too? Yes Perplexed, everyone else is getting paid to wear those spandex outfits covered in advertisements. Why else would they go out in public looking like a moving billboard? That is: everyone but me. I actually get paid to NOT wear ads. If you saw a picture of me on my bike, you’d understand.
