I have a very quick question: when is the best time to buy new gear?

Dear Wondering,
I find Monday through Friday between 8AM and 5PM to be the best time to buy new gear. This is mainly because that’s when Mrs. Gearographer is at work and has no idea what I’m up to. I also prefer buying near the end of the month, right after my credit card billing cycle ends, giving me a whole month before she finds out.
