The Field Pack is Poler’s most simple pack, and it doesn’t have all of the fancy bells and whistles, but that’s what makes it so great. When I first started using this pack, I thought it was a smaller pack but I’ve been using it for the last few weeks and it’s incredible how much gear you can pack into it. Everything from my laptop to shoes and even bike parts. This pack is extremely expandable and can hold much more than the advertised 14.4 liters.

Design and Aesthetics ★★★
Poler designed this bag with 1000D Campdura body fabric and it’s lined with 420D nylon and it comes in at 6″ tall by 11″ wide and 5″ deep. It’s a nice compact, well built bag that isn’t going to fall apart. The Field Pack has one large main compartment with a padded laptop sleeve and one external pocket which has been more than enough for my morning commutes and grocery runs.

Durability ★★★
The 1000D Campdura fabric is Poler’s version of Cordura fabric which is extremely strong and durable. The inside of the bag is lined with 420D nylon so it is strong yet light. The straps are made of the same nylon webbing that seat belts are made out of so they have an extremely high tensile strength. This backpack is a great for everyday use and won’t show any signs of wear.

Value ★★★
The Field Pack is only 50 bucks! I had no idea that such an inexpensive and high-quality pack existed. A pack of this caliber would usually cost upwards of $100. The fact that Poler was able to charge half of that is incredible.
