Parrot Bebop ($499)With its built-in 14-megapixel digital camera, complete with image stabilization and 8GB of storage, the Parrot Bebop is a great choice for budding filmmakers on a budget. But the onboard technology doesn’t end with just the camera, as this drone can be piloted using just an iPhone, iPad, or Android device as well. That integrated camera is capable of beaming back a first-person perspective of the flight directly to the screen, giving pilots a literal birds eye view of the action. The Bebop also has GPS capabilities that allow it to return to its starting point in emergency situations, and a cloud storage facility for quickly and easily sharing photos and videos with friends. Fast, lightweight, and maneuverable this drone is incredibly fun and easy to fly, making it popular with pilots who enjoy the process of flying as much as they do taking photos and video. It’s 11 minute flight time isn’t all that impressive, but Parrot makes up for it by including two batteries in the box.
