KT Tape Magnesium Cream & Pro Oxygen/Ice Tape

If there was ever a weekend to put KT Tape to the test, it was this one. I competed in an ultimate frisbee tournament, and long story short, I racked up 50,000 running steps in just two days. I used the Pro Oxygen Tape while playing for extra support, and it held up amazingly well. Once I was off the field, the Recovery Magnesium Cream saved the day. I shared it with my teammates, and the consensus was unanimous. My favorite quote, which I think perfectly sums up our experience: “It feels like my feet are taking deep breaths.”

Design ★★★★☆

KT Tape Pro Oxygen and Pro Ice both have a sleek, modern look. The Pro Oxygen comes in a sharp titanium hue that gives it a premium feel, while the Pro Ice is available in classic black, making it a solid, versatile choice. Both tapes come in pre-cut 10-inch strips, which makes them easy to apply without fumbling with scissors. The Magnesium Cream combo pack comes in two small containers, making it easy to throw into a bag or backpack.

Functionality ★★★★★

The Pro Oxygen tape is designed with Celliant® Infrared Technology, which claims to convert body heat into infrared energy, increasing local blood flow and delivering more oxygen to cells. I did feel like my legs felt fresher for longer while using it. The Pro Ice tape, infused with menthol, offers a cooling sensation aimed at relieving pain and inflammation. I slapped it on my knee after a long game, and while it wasn’t an ice bath, the subtle cooling effect did provide some relief. The Magnesium Cream, formulated with Arnica, aims to warm and loosen tight muscles pre-workout. I massaged it into my legs before hitting the field and felt a nice, soothing warmth that seemed to help ease me into my warm-up.

Durability ★★★★☆

Both tapes are made from synthetic performance fibers, designed to be water-resistant and fast-drying. They held up impressively well through sweat and movement. The adhesive stayed secure, and I didn’t experience any peeling or slipping, even after a full day of wear. The Magnesium Cream, while not long-lasting like the tape, absorbed well and provided noticeable relief for a good portion of my warm-up. Having the combo pack meant I didn’t have to worry about just getting my muscles warm, but also being able to recover.

Value ★★★★☆

At $24.99 per roll, the Pro Oxygen and Pro Ice tapes aren’t exactly cheap, but considering their durability and added benefits, they provide solid value for active individuals looking for extra support and recovery. The Magnesium Cream combo pack, priced at $39.99, offers great value by giving you pre and post-workout creams for a reasonable price. If you use muscle creams often, getting the combo pack is definitely the smarter buy.

Conclusion ★★★★☆

KT’s lineup of recovery and performance products delivers as advertised. The Pro Oxygen and Pro Ice tapes provide support and targeted relief, while the Magnesium Cream is a solid addition to any warm-up or recovery routine. If you’re serious about training, staying mobile, and reducing muscle fatigue, this combo pack is a great investment. Whether you’re a runner, hiker, or gym junkie, these products can help keep you moving longer and recovering smarter.
