REVIEW: Bedrock Cairn Evo C
I’ve had the Bedrock Cairn Evo C Sandals for about two weeks now, and in that time, I’ve worn them everywhere— to a baseball game, while bike commuting, walking nearly four miles a day, grocery shopping, standing at my desk for hours, and even on a short hike. To my surprise, the Cairn Evo Cs handled it all like a champ, and my feet stayed comfy the whole time.
Design and Aesthetics ★★★★★
The Cairn Evo C Sandals sport a minimalist yet rugged design. They come in a variety of earthy tones like clay, black, slate blue, and burgundy, catering to different style preferences. The Y-strap design is distinctive, and while it took a bit of getting used to, it adds to the sandal’s unique look. One thing to note is a lack of half sizing; while this isn’t an obstacle for me, it may be for others.

The Vibram outsoles are known for their durability, and the sandals can be resoled, extending their lifespan. While I have been able to “beat these up” with daily use for two weeks, they look and feel new. I can see not only the upper but also the sole of these shoes lasting for many seasons to come. For me, the Vibram sole puts them above other lightweight foam sandal competitors.
