Review: Fisherman Eyewear

Functionality ★★★★★
The Fisherman Eyewear Cabana sunglasses could be the cheapest pair of legit polarized glasses I’ve ever found. If you’re the type of person who loses things often, but you still want a high quality pair of polarized sunglasses, then you should seriously consider these shades. The Cabana also comes with a storage bag to protect them and a lanyard to keep them from falling into the water if you’re looking to see how big the fish is you just caught. One of the most overlooked features of these glasses is that you can order them with prescription lenses.

Design and Aesthetics ★★★
Although these glasses look rather cheap and “plasticky,” they are actually surprisingly high quality for the price. They are durable and block 100% UV A and B rays. In other words, they are keep everything bad away from your eyes while still giving you the crystal clear view that can only be delivered form a polarized lens. The lenses are designed with a retro cat eye design which covers your eyes nicely. Unfortunately, the oversized frames can cause some discomfort if you have high cheekbones. 

Durability ★★★★
These glasses are surprising durable for an inexpensive pair of shades, but unfortunately, at the end of the day, you get what you pay for and they aren’t indestructible. If you’re just using them for fishing and don’t throw them around too much, they should last you quite a while. As long as your dog doesn’t get a hold of them, they’re going to hold up fine.

Value ★★★★★
The Cabana is a great value because it does a five star job while keeping the price low. I am truly impressed with the quality of the polarized lenses and I would recommend these as a cheap pair of polarized shades.
