Summary:

At $30, the case is a $5 increase from the Note 9 version without the kickstand. Totally worth it. While there are other cases with credit card sleeves, this may be the only case on the market that has both a credit card sleeve and the ever so useful kickstand.

I got my hands on a SEIDIO Note 10 Plus Case Executive along with a dummy phone which is the same case I have on my Note 9. I can tell you that the Executive case on my Note 9 has saved my life multiple times in different ways and with the addition of the kickstand, will make the Executive line that much more clutch.

Design/Aesthetics – ★★★★★
For the past year, I’ve thoroughly enjoyed the smooth texture of the faux black leather on my Note 9. The stitching is precise and the buttons amplify the satisfying clicking feedback you get from the buttons. I’ve also been a fan of the kickstand that allows the phone to be propped up (we’ll get to that in a minute). So when SEIDIO took the kickstand that was traditionally for the Dilex and Surface lines and to brought it to the Executive line, I was pretty excited to get my hands. The kickstand itself has been improved and widened so it’s thinner but more stable. Overall, from a design perspective, this is one of my favorite cases that exists.

Durability – ★★★★
I’m pretty harsh on my phones and even more abusive since Samsung made the Note 9 submersible in water. While the case has been able to keep up with the abuse, over time, with the number of drops and times I’ve slid it in and out of my pockets, you can see that the case doesn’t have that brand new look to it anymore. While the case is not damaged by any means, SEIDIO makes cases that will protect your phone from 10 meter drops but I’d be hesitant to test that on this particular model. For durability I give a 4.

Functionality – ★★★★★
One of my favorite features from SEIDIO’s phone cases has been the kickstand. I use the kickstand in two ways, one when my wife and I are driving long distances and she wants to watch a movie. She’ll prop up the phone on the dash on the kickstand and zone out while I drive. Second is when I take fish selfies when no one is around to take my photo. This is clutch. The kickstand angles the phone up about 30 degrees which is about the perfect angle for take a selfie while your hands are occupied, like when holding a large fish. The fact that they were able to get the kickstand into the Executive line is not only impressive, they’ve also improved the kickstand to be larger, yet lighter and more stable, making it even more useful when recording yourself with large fish in hand. Finally the credit card sleeve has saved me numerous times when I’ve forgotten my wallet. I always keep a credit card in the holder in case I forgot my wallet and that way I have a method of payment with me as long as I have my phone.

(Despite no one being around to take a photo, I was able to take this video of myself thanks to the kickstand)

Value – ★★★★
At $30, the case is a $5 increase from the Note 9 version without the kickstand. Totally worth it. While there are other cases with credit card sleeves, this may be the only case on the market that has both a credit card sleeve and the ever so useful kickstand. It’ll last you an entire year (my Note 9 version did) and that’s long enough for me since I usually upgrade each year.
